South Africans are clashing on social media, after a beautiful Chinese woman became a member of parliament in this country.
Some are angry and accuse the ruling party of doing this and you will never see it done or happening in China.
She was elected to fill a seat in the legislature on (21 January 2021) and was sworn in on (27 January 2021).
Harvard holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Johannesburg and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from China.
The woman was a member of several Chinese businesses and BRICS Forums.
Xioemei is also the Honorable President of the African Federation of Chinese Women in Trade and Industry and the president of the South African-China Famous Business Council.
The elected woman joined the ANC's national spearhead in 2004, and the woman married a South African.
ANC parliamentary speaker Nomfanelo Kota said the party did not discriminate on the basis of race or gender.
