In South Africa, there is always unnecessary political drama that is impossible to ignore when national elections get near. From one political party to the next, they will always strive to use every resource at their disposal to help with the campaigning for the elections that will be taking place at that specific time and place.
Politicians are always politicians; they will always utilize the resources at their disposal to campaign at all times. At some moments, even lies and propaganda are used as a component of political party campaigns.
The opposition parties in South Africa met today to discuss the impeachment of the country's president in light of the allegations of money laundering leveled against him. Except for the democratic alliance, all of South Africa's opposition parties were present at that particular gathering.
However, the Democratic Alliance's current position on these matters has been made clear by the president of the Economic Freedom Fighters.
He has stated that the lack of the democratic alliance does not imply that they are opposed, but that there are other concerns that must be handled first at that time.
The matter of former president Thabo Mbeki collaborating with Arthur Fraser was brought up by Julius Sello Malema during the media briefing. Since then, many South Africans have been surprised by this development, and some are still perplexed.
Those who are familiar with Thabo Mbeki think he will address the issues that are currently taking place, are being used against him, and are the basis of their current accusations.
