Start this savings plan in July, to have a large amount of money saved by December. Opinion.

At the start of July we will be in the middle of the year. Unfortunately, while many people made new years resolutions to save money at the beginning of this year, a lot of us still haven't saved a cent yet. This could have been because of the cost of living not allowing us to or us being irresponsible with our money. Regardless, it doesn't mean that it is too late to start, just that we have to change the way we think about saving. We can still use a one year savings plan to have a lot of money by the end of the year, however it will be a little bit harder because of all the time we have lost. All the details on how to do this are below. Followed by some things that you need to remember when you save.

Saving money in Six months ;

The plan below is what we will be using, notice that it's spread out across fifty two weeks. When we use the plan we will have to instead turn that into twenty six weeks.

You will start using this plan in the first week of July. However instead of saving for just one week, each week, save for two weeks on the list. That means in the first week, you will save for week one and two, in the second week you will save for week three and four and so on.

This won't be easy, but if you can find a way to put away that money each week, you will have a large chunk of money available to you at the end of the year.

Things to remember :

When saving, you need to remember why you are saving and what you can achieve with that money after you have saved it. If you don't, than You may find yourself spending the money impulsively.

If you can, put this money into a container that you can seal, so that you won't have access to it until your break the container.
