There are numerous types of social assistance grants that are given out by the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa). The Older Persons Grant, the Disability Grant, and the Children's Support Grants are a few examples of these funds.
On the second day of each month, these grants are given out. As a result of public pressure, Sassa has decided to disburse funds earlier in the month rather than the third day as was previously the case.
The Sassa Grant Payment Schedule for June 2022 Is Listed Below.
There will be an older person's grant on June 2, 2022
Grant for Disabilities – Friday, June 3, 2022
There will be a lottery for children's grants on June 6, 2022.
Over 11.6 million people have received social grants from Sassa since May. There are nine provinces around the country where these grants are given out.
SRD R350 grant payments are no longer made at the Post Office. This means that recipients of the award will not be able to collect their funds on a predetermined date. Pick & Pay, Boxer, Shoprite, Checkers, and USave are all locations where customers can pick up their R350 award. It's possible to receive the award money in the form of a direct deposit into your bank account.
There will be no costs for people who go to shops to collect handouts from Sassa.
