SAPO advises SASSA beneficiaries to use alternatives to withdraw their grants due to insufficient funds

SAPO has advised SASSA beneficiaries to use alternatives to withdraw their money because they are going to be having insufficient funds, therefore they advise beneficiaries to withdraw at supermarkets or ATMs.
Although the majority of the May grants have been paid. Tuesday the 3rd was reserved for the elderly, Wednesday the 4th was reserved for the disabled, and Thursday the 5th of May was reserved for the children's grant.
Therefore the arrangements remain for the SRD grants and beneficiaries who use cash pay points.
For beneficiaries who use gold cards that were issued by the posted bank, withdrawals at a supermarket are free of charge, they can also swipe the card for any purchases if they do not need cash.
The beneficiaries can also withdraw at a bank but will be charged according to the bank's fee levy.
