DJ Zinhle's baby father AKA has been controversial only to people outside of Zinhle. To her, he's only ever been Kairo's dad and it shows in the way she speaks of him with such respect.
This week on The Unexpected, Zinhle has reached the final stages of being pregnant and is being treated the way all expecting mothers should be treated of course. With spa treatments and sister time with her older sister Gugu and her sister-in-law. They spent the day getting pampered and discussing the baby.
We first got to see her hilariously trying to prank Bongani about constructing the baby's nursery items and seeing him flustered in his fancy outfit was kind of funny. It reminded me that there's another side in South Africa, a side of people who want for nothing. They had people coming in to build their baby's cot and you could visibly see him relax.
AKA is ready to a supportive figure in baby Asante's life
However when it came to girl talk, Zinhle got real about discussing AKA and his support of her pregancy. He even went as far as to point out that he would be in the baby's life just as Kairo is in Bongani's life. An honourable notion in my opinion.
He seems to be mature enough to understand that blended families need the people involved to set aside their egos. I never thought I'd ever say those words about AKA but they appear to be true. Looks can really be deceiving.
Bongani needs more time to acclimatize
Murdah Bongz on the other hand does not seem to be quite a keen on Kiernan being around his child. It is a sticky situation yo maneuver when yòunconsider that AKA's mother, is such a large part of Zinhle's life.
Do you think they'll be able to work out how to be a family? Let me know in the comments... 💬
