Learning is a process and moving from one stage to the other. But it has a very critical part at some point that will requires knowledge and ideas of the growing generation. Then at that stage, how have you trained your child to be useful and developed in critical thinking?
It is always good as a parent to be very sure of engaging those child/children in a critical thinking process to make his or her mental alertness functioning at all time.
One as a parent cannot afford to have a dummy child or children where nothing will be meaningful and impactful to him or her let alone of making him or her contributing intellectually and critically to the community or society.
Most parent asking their children on the way out of a particular situation and make them think and apply their problem solving skills into real live, it is sad that we have them issuing directions and telling them how to approach a certain situation.
They can or may be wrong, but to make them do better, as a parent, you guide them and prepare them for a better tomorrow.
