The postpartum period begins after your baby is born and ends when your body is almost back to its pre-pregnancy state. This period usually lasts 6 to 8 weeks. You need to take good care of yourself to rebuild your power. During the first few weeks, you need plenty of rest, good nutrition, and help.
When you get these, it becomes much easier for you to return back to your normal state.
