With 38 children at the age of 37 they removed her Uterus to stop giving birth and health reasons

Mariam Nabatanzi, 37, lives in a Ugandan hamlet with up to 38 children, the majority of them were born via natural birth, with the final baby delivered via cesarean section.

When Nabatanzi was 13, she was pregnant with twins and gave birth to her first children. There are six sets of twins, four sets of triplets, three sets of quadruplets, and two babies born from two single pregnancies for this lady.

There are 10 girls and 28 boys among the 38 children; the oldest is 23 years old, and the youngest is 4 months old. She didn't feel out of the ordinary when she had 38 children because her biological father had 45 children with a variety of partners.

Her husband was unsupportive of her.

Nabatanzi was forced to marry at the age of 12 by her family, and her spouse was 40 years old at the time. Her marriage was really difficult for her. “My husband had a large number of wives and children. They went, and I was left to look after his children.

Nabatanzi's eldest son, Charles Musisi, 23, said his father "disappeared" a long time ago and that the 38 siblings grew up solely because of their mother's love. “We have no idea what our father looks like. “The last time I saw him was when I was 13 years old, on a dark night, and the time to meet was quite short,” Charles explained.

In addition to supporting her family, this mother works a variety of additional occupations, including hairstyling for the bride, event decoration, and so on.

Despite her lack of formal education, she was concerned about her children's education: "I hope they all go to school; they dream of being physicians, teachers, or attorneys." I'd like them to follow me. pursuing my ambitions, which I failed to do.”

This woman continued to consult her doctor about delaying the delivery of her youngest kid until the last time she gave birth. The doctors opted to remove her uterus” to protect her health after assisting her in giving delivery via cesarean surgery.
