Teenage pregnancy has a negative impact on the pregnant learners themselves. Their situation leads to exclusion from peer groups, poor performance or even to their dropping out of school. However, sometimes their pregnancy is the result of a deliberate act because it is seen as fashionable.
Teenage pregnancy is one of the most disturbing issues that South Africa is currently faced with, as years goes by the rate keeps increasing drastically. There is a saying that pregnant teenagers who attends school affect other learner's performances as their pregnancies causes them to fall asleep in class. Could this really be true? Well I guess we will never know.
As there is a trend whereby people write things on paper and take pictures with, we also got to laugh at what had been written on these papers. One tweep recently took to social media to share share an hilarious post where they mentioned that if it was not for pregnant learners in their class maybe, they would be a ChaChad Accountant.
