A lot of Children these days are not taught properly. Because their parents do not pay enough attention to them they are often manipulated by the outside world, which leads them to do things early in their life that may effect them forever. A thirteen year old girl has recently gone through a traumatic situation after she gave birth. We do not know where the child gave birth however we can tell you that it wasn't in a hospital as soon after having the baby she hid it in a cooler box. Residents in the are became very suspicious of the girls actions and called on police to do a wellness check on her. It was than that the fetus was discovered wrapped inside two school t shirts in the cooler box. Thankfully the girl is now being given proper medical treatment and the hope is that also gets sufficient psychological help to deal with the trauma of this situation. Teenage pregnancy is a huge issue in South Africa and it's one that can affect any child. A lot of children are not properly educated on these issues and end up being manipulated by predators who take advantage of them. We need programs that help children, especially in township areas, understand the dangers of teenage pregnancy and how it can ruin their life.
