How to mentally prepare your child for upcoming exams

Examination time can be a bit frustrating, no matter how prepared you are you just cannot shy away from the anxiety that exam trigger, this time can be emotionally taxing.

Sometimes your brain cannot handle more information no matter how hard you try to study, sometimes sleepiness gets so overwhelming the minute you touch your books.

Many people resort to energy drinks during this time, some people cannot handle the ingredients that are found in these energy boosters.

One thing parents can encourage during this time is healthy sleeping patterns, healthy snacks like fruits and vegetables. Another thing is rest, what is the use of studying for 24hours whereas your brain cannot handle such influx of information. Rest and maybe taking a walk to clear your mind can also help.

Please emotionally support your children as this time of the year can cause a lot of mental, physical and emotional breakdowns.
