Why Do Mothers Kill Their Kids?

Mothers are more likely to kill their own young children, while fathers often kill children who are not genetically related to them, such as stepchildren. This is according to Colonel Kirsten Clark, a clinical psychologist and commanding officer of the division of investigative psychology in the Western Cape. It is believed that the most common reason for parents to end their kid's lives is depression caused by their circumstances. Some single mothers are not economically stable and they do not have relatives, they prefer to kill their kids than watch them suffer.

There's really no need to take an innocent life because of your failures as a parent, there are organizations which assist parents who are not able to take care of their babies. It is extremely unfair to end a child's life just because he/she has no say and you brought them to this life. Of course there are people who condone this and make all sorts of excuses, but there's no justification. As for those men who murder kids after finding out that they not biologically related, it is extremely disheartening and unacceptable.
