It is hard taking care of a child without knowledge when it comes to challenges they face when they grow up. A lady from Cape Town, Khayelitsha shared an image of her child on social media to seek help. After noticing that she is growing strange lumps on the head.
Which caused her hair to fade away, she exposed that she tried everything she can to help her. But the problem seems to go on and on. As she now sees serious damage on her head after applying what they have given her at the clinic. The child developed what is called "Lekgekgwe" in Sotho. A condition caused by worms mostly found in children. As they are vulnerable to bacterias that feed on their skin.
Unfortunately for this child her head's condition worsened after failing to attend deworming. She went from better to worse from what her mother exposed on social media. Would you say she should try something different.
