The shooting of teenagers in Elsies that led to a call for ceasefire

A report was made of an urgent call that was made by the Elsies River community members for a gang ceasefire following the shooting of three teenagers .A confirmation was reportedly made by the Western Cape Police of three teenagers that got shot in Elvis River on Friday morning .

In accordance with the Warrant Officer , two boys aged 17 and the other one age 15 were found with gunshot wounds while lying on the ground .As the police want the perpetrators to be brought to book ,a 72-hour investigations has been initiated .

An arrest was reportedly made of a 28-year-old man , who is scheduled to make an appearance in court on attempted murder charges .The shooting did not only lead to the injuries of the teenagers , but it also led to the suspension of classes at a nearby school . Police and community members have called for a ceasefire .
