Last week, the TV presenter made an announcement in a happy manner but today she has changed the tune as it has ended in tears.
Johannesburg- With just few days when the popular TV personality made an announcement on social media, things have taken a U- turn as she has dumped her interest in just three days.
We have to admit, this year of 2021 is showing us flames in all aspects of life. Whether it's in relationships or marriages, we are definitely going through the most.
This year many celebrities announced break ups from their relationships, leaving us with questions over what could have happened as we saw no signs it is going to end in tears. We also reported on other celebrity marriages that ended as well and lot of them left us in shock.
Not only is the love life which ends in tears but even on career interests. Last week here in Mzansicelebritynews, we reported of a TV personality and a radio personality who had made an announcement of venturing into the political career. Sadly, that will no longer happen now as it ended before it starts.
We can confirm that media personality Kuli Roberts’ plans of holding public office have ended just a week after she announced that she’d joined a political party.
Last week Mzwanele Manyi revealed last week that the television presenter had joined the African Transformation Movement (ATM), and was running for candidacy in ward 65 in Tshwane .
“The one and only @kuliroberts has joined the winning team. Servant Kuli has signed up to serve the people of South Africa. Servant Kuli is ATM councillor candidate for Ward 65 in Tshwane. We wish her well,” he tweeted.
However, her move to enter politics through the ATM took a detour when the political party announced in a statement that Roberts has had to step down due to “confidential circumstances”.
Taking to Twitter, Mzwanele Manyi shared a statement confirming her departure from the party.
“Due to unforeseen and confidential circumstances it is no longer possible to have Nomakula Roberts as a member and ward councillor candidate of the African Transformation Movement,” read the statement.
