Interest has been sparked by PSL clubs for the services of one of the brightest prospects in the Ethiopian national team.
It is believed representatives from both Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have made exploratory enquiries on Ethiopian forward Abubeker Nassir following his impressive displays against Bafana Bafana.
The 21-year-old is currently on the books of Ethiopian side Coffee SC for who he smashed 29 goals last season on his way to being crowned the league's top goalscorer, Best Young Player and the Most Valuable Player.
Enquiries have not been limited to Chiefs and Pirates but also include other local clubs having enquired about Nassir along with teammates Amanuel Gebremichael and Surafel Dagnachew.
I am impressed by the combinational play of number 8 and 10. If any PSL team sign number 10 they must also sign number 8. What a combo. Number 8 reminds me of the General Teko Modise killer passes.
He must opt for pirates not chiefs, that Madala Baxter will turn him into a cow, he obviously killed the career of both Nk Ngcobo and Mashiane. Bobby Motaung i trust you on breaking the rules. Bring this boy to PSL.
If chiefs was coached by the late Ted the boy would do wonders in naturena, under Baxter he won't play since he prefer defenders.Abubakar Nasir, yerr that boy is a goal scoring machine in the Ethiopian league, he's always on score sheet for Coffee FC. I don't even know many hattricks he scored last season alone. Then there's number 8 and number 7, Ethiopia is blessed.
