BREAKING | Chiefs striker out for 2 months

Kaizer Chiefs announced on their social media platforms that Serbian striker Samir Nurkovic will be out for a further 2 months after undergoing knee surgery.

Things just seem to get worst for the mighty Amakhosi and with the news of top marksmen out for a further 6-8 weeks. The head of physiotherapy at Kaizer Chiefs David Milner, confirmed that the team would be without the services of Samir Nurkovic for up to 2 months. After undergoing surgery last week, the surgeon found a little tear on the cartilage of his right knee. He's expected to return to training for Kaizer Chiefs in the new year. The injury to Nurkovic Castro, and Zuma has been weighing heavily on coach Stuart Baxter as he doesn't have an out to out striker to play in that position. This coincides with Chiefs form as they haven't been doing well and sit in 13 position on the log.

Will Baxter last as Chiefs coach?
