Saturday's loss to newcomers, Royal AM FC seems to be the last straw for Kaizer Chiefs supporters who have had enough of poor results. Chiefs were humiliated when they were beaten by Marumo Gallants 4-1 at a match at the FNB Stadium.
Chiefs fans earlier this year marched to the Kaizer Chiefs head quarters in Naturena to hand over a memorandum to the club's bosses. They were marching against a string of poor results under coach Gavin Hunt. Chiefs fell off to the eleventh spot on the log and this saw Hunt walk out Naturena and out of his five-year-contract. He now coaches Chippa United.
His replacement at Chiefs, Stuart b Baxter could suffer the same fate soon if the fans get their way. Several calls from Amakhosi faithful for him to be released have been made and the supporters are even threatening to march again should the coach continue with his duties.
