Here's how eating plants can help you fight erectile dysfunction and spice up your bedtime routine.

Erectile dysfunction, which occurs when a man has difficulty obtaining or maintaining an erection, can be embarrassing to discuss. However, it is very common.

Three new studies show that eating a healthy plant-based diet benefits men's health, including lowering the risk of erectile dysfunction and prostate cancer.

The most recent study, published in the American Journal of Urology, followed over 47 000 men on various diets for 28 years. They came to the conclusion that plant-based diets are associated with a lower risk of prostate cancer and erectile dysfunction.

Dr. Stacy Loeb, the study's lead author, stated, "These three studies show that dietary interventions can have a positive impact on overall health as well as specific urologic conditions that millions of men face." Increased consumption of a healthy plant-based diet has significant urologic and sexual health benefits."

Loeb also believes that plant-based diets should be recommended to men who are concerned about the risks of prostate cancer.

"We are on the cusp of figuring out how healthy living with less animal protein and more of a plant-based diet with more vegetables and fruits is not only better for your heart but also good for men's health conditions, including sex life and testosterone levels," said another study author, Dr Ranjith Ramasamy.

According to international health expert Maria Ascencao, men are more likely than women to prefer red meat, poultry, and bread over fruits and vegetables, which may lead to a lack of key nutrients.

According to research, a diet high in nutritious foods and low in processed and refined foods with high sugar content is not only associated with lower erectile dysfunction and prostate cancer risk, but also has many other health benefits."

Ascencao discusses three plant-based foods that are beneficial to men's sexual health below.

Leafy green vegetables, such as spinach, celery, kale, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and Swiss chard, are high in antioxidants and nitrates, which aid in circulation. Nitrates are vasodilators, which means they help to open up blood vessels and increase blood flow. They are high in magnesium, which reduces inflammation in the blood vessels and increases blood flow to the extremities.

Biomax Magnesium is a highly absorbable magnesium supplement that may help improve blood pressure, bone health, and heart health.

Blueberries contain a lot of vitamin K.

Blueberries are high in vitamin K, vitamin C, fiber, antioxidants, and flavonoids, which aid in circulation and blood flow while decreasing the risk of erectile dysfunction.

Blueberries may also help reduce impotence in men by up to 10%, according to research. Strawberries, apples, cherries, blackberries, and radishes are also beneficial fruits.

Avocados are high in good fats, which help to raise good cholesterol while decreasing bad cholesterol. They contain a lot of antioxidants, are high in omega 3 fats, and help reduce cell damage. They also aid in the reduction of blood pressure, the improvement of brain health, and the improvement of blood circulation.

Choose nuts, olive oil, oily fish like tuna, herring, or sardines, flaxseed or chia seeds, walnuts, or supplement with Purest Omega 3.
