SuperSport United were terrible defeated by Marumo Gallants

After Fleurs got a red card in the second half, SuperSport United lost concentration ended up conceding 2 goals towards the end.

Match played At Chatsworth Stadium in Durban on Tuesday night, SuperSport United lost concentration late in the game and lost 2-1 to Royal AM.

Matsatsantsa took the lead after 30 minutes when Thamsanqa Gabuza scored. It was a reward for their strong start, and it also happened to be the first half's sole goal.

Luke Fleurs was sent off after receiving back-to-back yellow cards in the space of eight minutes, putting the visitors at a numerical disadvantage.

SuperSport thought they had done everything they could to earn all three points, but the hosts kept pushing for an equalizer and were rewarded in the 90th minute.

After failing to clear a set-piece, Zukile Mkhize pounced on a stray ball from three yards out to punish the defenders.

Two minutes later, a quick move caught the defenders off guard, and replacement Menzi Masuku calmly slotted home to earn his team the crucial win, moving them up to third place on the table with 17 points, while the former champions are a place lower with 15 points.

Meanwhile, in a PSL match played at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Tuesday evening, Menzi Ndwandwe scored in the 90th minute to give hosts TS Galaxy a 2-1 victory over Baroka.

After a draw and a win in their last two league games against Baroka, the hosts were strong favorites to take all three points.

Baroka, on the other hand, startled them after just 17 minutes when Basil Mphalele picked Evidence Makgopa in the area, and the latter did an excellent job to score the game's first goal.

Galaxy needed to pick up the pace, but they were held off until four minutes before halftime, when they conceded a penalty. Sipho Mngomezulu rose to the situation and scored, ensuring that the two teams were tied at halftime.

The visitors appeared to be on their way to a valuable point, but Galaxy had other plans. Tsheghofatso Nyama set up replacement Ndwandwe for the winning goal, lifting them off the bottom of the table with a five-point haul.

They had two ties and six losses in their prior matches, therefore this was their first win of the season.

Another top-tier match at Princess Magogo Stadium ended in a goalless draw between Golden Arrows and Swallows.
