Prayer: Father, Please Pardon My Sins That Have Robbed Me The Joy Of My Salvation

"Because holy sorrow produces salvation rather than death, it is not to be repented of" 2 Corinthians 7:10.

Many people are in desperate need of rebirth, but due to pride, they have been unable to obtain it. On the heels of spiritual degradation, there is a need for revival to bring about spiritual restoration. Spiritual deterioration can be caused by a variety of factors. Disobedience is an example of one of them.

According to the Bible, Adam and Eve lost their fellowship with God when they disobeyed God. The man and his wife were nude but not humiliated before the fall, according to the Bible (Genesis 2:25 ). Their eyes were opened - ‘enlightened' (Genesis 3:7-8 ) and they became ashamed after the fall, according to the Bible.

The above-mentioned Scripture has numerous teachings for us to consider. One, spiritual degradation causes nakedness and shame to be shown. The antonym of splendor is shame. All sorts of vice stem from spiritual deterioration, which explains why many women dress in revealing attire in order to entice men and lure them into sexual immorality.

In a similar vein, many men engage in sexual immorality prior to and during marriage. When God's splendor shines upon you, you will never act like this.

“If it is found in the way of righteousness, the hoary head is a crown of glory,” Proverbs 16:31.

When a person loses their spirituality, the Lord's voice becomes terrifying. He or she develops a strong aversion to God's word. At the end of the day, such people flee their Bible-believing churches for phony churches. Spiritual healing is required for such persons.

The problem with such people is their pride, which prevents them from following David's example in 2 Samuel 12:1-13, when he responded to God's message through prophet Nathan. God forgiven and restored David when he confessed his faults. The end result of this tale can be found in Psalm 51:11-12;

“Do not cast me out of thy presence, and do not deprive me of thy holy spirit. Restore the joy of thy deliverance to me, and sustain me with thy free spirit.”

Are you spiritually freezing, beloved? Have you lost some of the spiritual gifts that allow you to shine with the Lord's glory? All you have to do is humble yourself and call on Jesus Christ. He'll get you back up and running in no time.
