How Cristiano Ronaldo Performed For Portugal In yesterday Fixture

Cristiano Ronaldo, a Manchester United striker, was in action today as he captained Portugal against Republic of Ireland at the Aviva Stadium in a World Cup qualifier.

Portugal dominated for the majority of the game, however the Republic of Ireland had the best chance to score, as they had a same number of shots on target as their opponents.

Pepe received a red card and was eventually sent off in the 81st minute for a harsh challenge on an Ireland player, making things worse. At full time, the game ended in a goalless draw, with both teams settling for a point each.

Cristiano Ronaldo received a 6.6 rating from Sofa Score on his effort tonight. The 36-year-old didn't have a really good game, failing to score and leading his team to victory over Ireland.
