We were 12 pregnant women; they killed 11 of us and abducted my unborn child -Kidnapped woman's story is shared with the public
Takoradi, the capital city of Ghana's Western region, has emerged as one of the places where abduction instances have been on the rise since a few years ago, according to official records. Three girls were abducted many years ago, and their disappearance sparked widespread concern across the country. To this day, the girls have not been recovered.
It was only a few weeks ago when a pregnant lady who was out for a morning jog near the New Takoradi Paa Grant roundabout was abducted by unidentified assailants.
According to Angel fm news, the pregnant lady was discovered in Axim, a town in the Western region, only this morning. According to information collected from Angel news, the pregnant lady was discovered by a guy who was walking along the shoreline.
When she was asked about her reason for being there, she couldn't speak but communicated through sign language that she had been kidnapped by some men, who had taken her to an unknown location where there were twelve pregnant women, eleven of whom were killed, and they (the kidnappers) had taken her unborn baby with them.
The lady had also written her husband's phone number on the ground, and the Axim good Samaritans were able to reach him via phone. The lady is now being transported to Takoradi Effiankwanta hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
