Orlando Pirates new signing Goodman Mosele is surprised to have broken into the club's starting lineup so early since joining the club.
The player joined the Buccaneers after he spent three seasons with Baroka FC.
Mosele made his name at Baroka where he emerged as one of the most talented midfielders in the country.
He made a total of 92 appearances for Baroka for the three seasons he spent there.
The player's talent attracted interests from overseas and the South African national team.
However Pirates acted fast to secure his signature.
The player is also a part of Bafana Bafana squad that will play against Ethiopia next month for the 2022 FIFA World cup qualifiers.
Speaking to the club's website Mosele said he did not expect that the opportunity to play for the club would come so soon.
"I expected to spend some time adapting to the team’s style, but the chance came and I grabbed it," he said.
The player added that he is encouraged by the way he has played for the club so far and if he works hard he believes things will go well.
The player has scored twice since joining Pirates.
