Changing Times|| For The First Time KZN Politicians Are Turning Their Back On The Zulu Monarchy

The Zulu Royal Family continues to suffer the feud over the throne, this has led to the dissertation of the Zulu Monarchy by almost all KwaZulu-Natal politicians.

The politicians make rounds of visits to the Royal family to seek votes and blessings so they can win the upcoming elections. Some politicians visit the King just to introduce their new party and forget that the man has a lot on his plate currently. The feud within the Royal family has managed to stop the anti-political violence programs which the late King Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu used to deliver, during his election campaigning periods to pray for peaceful elections. Prince Thulani Zulu has told the scroll that the feud has managed to stop such programs.

The situation at the Royal family has made it difficult for important events to take place. Amid the delays and infighting, many politicians still visit King MisuZulu kaZwelithini in their private capacity. Prince Thulani mentioned some of the high profile politicians who constantly used to visit the Palace, namely EFF leader Julius Malema, former DA leader Mmusi Maimane, President Cyril Ramaphosa, and the ANC suspended secretary-general Ace Magashule, former president Jacob Zuma as well as UDM leader Bantu Holomisa.

The contestant of the Zulu throne has been going on since the passing of the late King Zwelithini earlier in the year. If only all these high-profile visitors had intervened maybe by now things could be back to normal. But only a few have since tried to intervene, Ramaphosa, King Makhosetive Mswati iii, Former KZN premier Willies, Princess Charlene of Monaco who was a close friend to King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu. Let's hope soon after the elections the government will put the matter to rest and solve the feud once and for all. Since the Royal family is disagreeing to agree maybe an outside force will put some sense into everything that is going on there.
