Orlando Pirates played at home against Jwaneng Galaxy and won the match 1-0 as Linda Mntambo scored.


Orlando Pirates played their latest fixture in CAF Confederations Cup against Jwaneng Galaxy and won the match 1-0 at full-time. Orlando Pirates had the home ground advantage and managed to make good use of it as they scored a goal against the visitors and they managed to keep a clean sheet in the match. Orlando Pirates might not have such a good run in the South African PSL, but they have been very impressive in the CAF Confederations Cup as to date. Orlando Pirates win against Jwaneng Galaxy is all thanks to Linda Mntambo who scored a superb goal in the in the second half of the match after a 0-0 first half draw.

Orlando Pirates opened the scoring in the second half of the match when Linda Mntambo scored the opening goal of the match in the 58th minute as Orlando Pirates lead the match 1-0. Jwaneng Galaxy failed to make a comeback as Orlando Pirates hold on to their lead to win the match 1-0 in the end.
