Both South African and Swaziland Civilians criticized Ramaphosa’s visit to Eswatini.

Due to the ongoing riots in the Kingdom of Eswatini under the leadership of King Mswati III,President Cyril Ramaphosa, as the Chairman of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security had a meeting with King Mswati III at the Royal Palace in the Kingdom of Eswatini for deliberations on political and security developments in the Kingdom.

This matter has made it to the headlines, particularly on Twitter, both South African and Swaziland civilians have been voicing their views on the visit of President Cyril Ramaphosa to the kingdom of Eswatini. Zex Mthizwa tweeted “The problem is that you keep on meeting with the source of the problem without involving the relevant stakeholders. You cannot formulate the terms of references for the dialogue with the government without involving the reps of the oppressed people of Swaziland”

“They seem to be having a good time while families out there are grieving the losses of their loved ones as a result of Mswati's brutal regime. I hope they will discuss the release of political activists and to stop the killings of innocent and unarmed citizens engaged in protests” said Samanta Mhlongo from Swaziland.
