Psalm 8:4 the Bible says, "what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?"
Ever felt like God does not recognize you? That He is not aware that you're still around? Praying for something and rather witness the situation worsening?
Well, it happens hey.. All that crosses one's mind. Feeling like you are stuck in one position while other people are progressing and succeeding in life.
Not seeing yourself moving from one position to the other is one of the causes of being depressed. The enemy whispers in our ears that, God can't help us, that God can't see us through, that He doesn't love us or care about what happens in our lives. Of which the enemy comes only to kill our faith and confidence in God, to steal our joy, and destroy the great relationship and companionship we have with God.
Going back to book of Ecclesiastes 3:1, the Bible says :
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
• a time to be born, and a time to die;
• a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
• a time to kill, and a time to heal;
• a time to break down, and a time to build up;
• a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
• a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
• a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather Stones together;
• a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
• a time to seek, and a time to lose;
• a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
• a time to tear, and a time to sew;
• a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
• a time to love, and a time to hate;
• a time for war, and a time for peace.
I might not be knowing what season and time you're going through right now, but I need you know that, as God has said, there is a time and season for every matter under heaven.
There will come a time in your life where you are going to have to keep silent about some things, where some words will be better off unsaid, or some things better off not done.
Same way as there will come a time where you are going to have to speak.
Death is constantly visiting homes. We've already lost some family members and friends. We are asking God what is it that we've done that we are losing people in result to death, so much and almost everyday.
We go through a mourning phase everyday. But it is not a surprise to Him because He made us aware that, "hey, a time will come where you will mourn."
Death is not something we get used to. When it occurs, we are all the time left without words to utter. But God knows everything. He knows about things to happen in years to come.
But the fact of the matter remains that, God has not forgotten about you. The season and time you're going through right now will pass.
Your mourning season will pass and you will enter into a new season of dancing. Your weeping season will pass and you know how it feels like to laugh again.
Your waiting season will pass and you will get to experience all that you have waited for. He is a God of restoration. He will restore to you everything that the enemy has stolen.
You will rejoice once again. You will be happy again. You will dance again. You will weep no more. That peace which surpasses human understanding will be yours. It will flood your life.
Hold on to God's truth and promise that, you are not forgotten. Seeing other people prosper doesn't mean the Lord forgot about you. No. Just that, their season have come, their time has come. And you are next in line.
I would like to encourage you to stay in faith. Keep believing. Congratulate others on their success. Keep praying. Keep hoping.
And when the time is right, the Lord will make it happen in your life. Sometimes we rush God to answer our prayers. The delay may be because we ask for things that are not in line with the Word of God. We ask for things that God knows are NOT best for us, hence we feel like God is delaying.
God is never too late or early, but rather, He is always on time. THE BEST WAY TO RECEIVE WHAT YOU ASK FOR, IS TO ASK FOR WHAT GOD WANTS FOR YOU.
Just say to God, "LORD, MAY YOUR WILL BE DONE IN MY LIFE." By so saying, you are saying to God, "I want what you want for me." You are not forgotten. God just wants what is best for you.
In my alone time, I try to remember all that I've done wrong. Sometimes the enemy will make you think that, your sins are so great that God cannot forgive you.
The enemy will make you think that, you are not worthy to have a word with God because your sins are just too much for God. The devil is a liar! Never listen to what he whispers in your ears.
When we pray we say, "forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us." After saying those words, believe in your heart that indeed, the Lord has forgiven you.
You are so much loved by God. His love is unconditional and never-ending. The Bible because God loved us so much, He sent His one and only begotten Son to die for our sins, so that those who believe, may have eternal life.
The quiet times you have, may they be about God. Do not allow the enemy to steal that moment for you by reminding you of your sins, by lying to you and telling you God doesn't love you or care about you.
Use that time to rather meditate about what God Himself has said about you. Use it to praise God for who He is, for what He did and what He will do in your life. Pray, rather than think of the sins you committed years ago.
God loves you so much.
The fact that you're still alive, should be reason enough that there is something that God wants to do in your life.
There is something that God wants to show the world, through you. Weapons will be formed but they won't prosper. Floods may come but they won't drown you. Fires will be burned to destroy you, but you will not be burned.
God's purpose about your life will be fulfilled, no matter what people will say about you. What is important is what God has said about you.
As you breathe in and out, remember that God is about to do amazing things in your life. It may not look like that right now because it is not yet the time and season. Wait patiently on the Lord and will see and experience His greatness, that you have so long waited for.
So, as we wait on the Lord, let's praise Him while we wait. Say these words with me from the book of Psalm 102:1-2 --
"Hear my prayer, O Lord; let my cry come to you!
Do not hide your face from me in the day of my distress!
Incline your ear to me; answer me speedily in the day when I call. "
Make known your cry to God. He listens and He hears.
I pray for speed anointing upon your life. I pray that God answers every prayer you make. I pray that He may grant you as ask. I pray for peace over your life. May grace and mercy follow you wherever you may God.
May you experience the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. May God come through for you. May you constantly be reminded that God has not forgotten about you.
May God bless you. 🙏
