The ANC can sometimes confuse you. It seems like they make the law for certain people and some rules are made for other people. The ANC is also capable of flip-flopping just like the EFF.
The whole ANC members have gone out in their numbers to support the accused Mpumalanga MEC Mandla Msibi who got arrested for murder. This is really a serious criminal case and ANC members were there to support him wearing ANC regalia.
When it was Ace Magashule in the same position, the leaders of the ANC said that people who wanted to support Magashule can do so but not wearing the ANC regalia because it will look like it is the ANC that is supporting him even if he is accused of such criminal case. They don't nit want to find themselves looking like they are interfering with the law.
Magashule supporters were very resilient as they continued to support him wearing the ANC regalia. Now the tables have turned and it seems like the party don't think that Msibi should not be supported while members of the ANC are wearing the ANC regalia. They have not said anything about this.
The suppoters are even threatening that they won't vote if Msibi is not released on bail. They are saying that Msibi is the head of elections in the province and he has been on the ground all this time. This is another politically motivated case. They don't want to see Msibi rising up to positions in the province and this is according to his supporters.
The ANC and its members seems to be having huge problems and as the country we find ourselves being caught in the middle. If the ANC did care about the people of this country as they claim, they would have just moved away from power and sort out their issues without getting innocent people involved.
We know that they the most important thing that president Cyril Ramaphosa said was that the renewal of the ANC was the most important issue on their agenda. As for the rest of South Africans, it shows clearly that we take second position.
