The Covid-19 pandemic emerged for the first time in December 2019 ,before spread across the globe like wild fire.It has taken long for the scientists around the globe to understand and to have an idea of how to curb it from spreading. The pandemic has claimed millions of lives across the globe and millions have been infected during the process.

The sad reality is that there has been many theories that have been developed by different people in trying to understand the origin and how it is spread from one individual to the next.
There was a claim that was spread on social media that the 5G network has a hand in the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. This spread a lot of fear amongst some members of the public who still want to understand the Covid-19 pandemic.
In accordance to the Independent On Line news , the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research highlighted that the 5G technology plays no part in the development of the Covid-19 or the mutation of the Covid-19.

The Council is reported to have added that the 5G technology is there to serve a purpose of upgrading and improving the lives of people in the world.
The Council added that there has been theories that have been circulating since 2020 claiming that the 5G network has a role in the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Doc Essa Suleman , who is a senior official at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research made a conformation and assurance that the 5G technology has no role in the mutation or spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

She added that besides the absence of the scientific data linking 5G technology to the Covid-19, she said that former plays a significant role of improving communications technology and plays a huge role of ensuring improvements in the lives of people.
She added that through 5G technology, there has been large volumes of data that has been processed and shared over shorter periods of time.
The technology has been described as enabling problems to be solved in short spaces of time which in turn helped solve the Covid-19 pandemic.
