Kaizer Chiefs trainer Gavin Hunt is fully aware of the (high) expectations of the Soweto giants.
Amakhosi went through the first half of a difficult first season for DStv 2020/21 following the arrival of Hunt from Bidvest Wits.
Kaizer Chiefs are currently eighth overall in the second half of the season.
They can be lower depending on how the other games are played that week.
Gavin Hunt has discussed his goals for the club for the remainder of the season.
GAVIN HUNT: THE KAIZER HEAD MUST WIN THE "COMPLETELY COMFORTABLE" SOWETO DERBY.
"At a club like the Kaizer Chiefs you can't build a future, I think so. But we are in a situation like this," Hunt told reporters.
"Now if you take our points and double that, you are not going to win the league, you know that. So it will be [difficult]; we have to do our best.
Kaizer Chiefs currently has 18 points in the middle. Doubling it (36) will not be enough to win the title. The Mamelodi Sundowns Diary Guide currently has 33 points.
"So now it's one game at a time. Try to get through the next game; try to reset your goals and that's all I can do [this season] - we all know the situation.
"So I believe in the players we have, but they definitely have to play better, there's no doubt about that. And they are all displayed for me.
"They have to raise their hands and show that they want to play. At the moment we only have to play one game at a time."
