After having pulled a shock winner in the CAF Confederations Cup a few days ago, Marumo Gallants midfielder Thabo Mnyamane is optimistic that they are in good spirits to can cause an upset and beat the wounded Kaizer Chiefs when the two sides meet on Sunday at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Gallants had to force their way into the next Rou d of the CAF Confederations Cup after they suffered a 2-1 defeat away from home, they came back home and won 3-0 and qualified for the next round, that gave them hope and believe that they can beat any team at any given time.
Former SuperSport United midfielder Mnyamane says despite the respect they have for Amakhosi, they are not scared of them and they don't really fear any team since they are playing in CAF competition, he reckons they deserve to play there.
According to media reports, Mnyamane says they are going to give it everythig they can to get the three points when the two sides meet on Sunday afternoon in Limpopo.
"Everyone knows that Kaizer Chiefs are a big team, but we are not scared of them. We are in CAF because we deserve to be there and we do not fear any team now, All we have to do this to give our best and make sure we get three points," he said.
Kaizer Chiefs are going through a rough patch, they are struggling to be consistent ever since Stuart Baxter returned, they have only managed to win one game out of four.
They will be going into this game with guns blazzing, trying to win back the love from their tlfand who are slowly starting to panick, some have halready started calling for the dismisal of Baxter, some are even saying it seems they jumped from the frying pan into the fire.
