There is a famous saying which goes by "it never rains but it pours", it can largely be used to Kaizer Chiefs current woes in the DStv Premiership. Boasting of one of the most impressive squad on paper, they have so far dismally failed to make an impression. In Stuart Baxter second spell at Chiefs, in their past two games they recently suffered a humiliating defeat against Royal AM and also dropped valuable point against struggling Marumo Gallants.
Many have so far went to raise questions if is Stuart Baxter really the right man for the job. On their last fixture on Sunday, Kaizer Chiefs were without the services of their forward Samir Nurkovic who is expected to go for surgery on his right knee and that could even take weeks for him to make his return.
To add to their woes ahead of next encounter against AmaZulu FC on Saturday, Kaizer Chiefs will also be without the services of defender Sfiso Hlanti as a result of suspension. In their recent 0-0 draw against Marumo Gallants, Hlanti received two yellow cards resulting in a red, automatically he will have to watch their next encounter on the grand stands.
Having collected some much valuable points over the weekend AmaZulu FC will be hoping to continue with the purple patch. The Durban based outfit recently went to share some news which will dappen the hearts of Kaizer Chiefs supporters. Through their coach Benni McCarthy they have since went to share that they will be welcoming the return of key players Augustine Mulenga, Thabo Qalinge, Xola Mlambo, Thembela Sikhakhane, Philani Zulu, Kgotso Moleko and Tercious Malepe who returns from suspension.
According to McCarthy they are set to welcome eight players in their team who were part of their starting XI last season. The Durban based outfit will be hoping to add to Kaizer Chiefs woes on Saturday as they will be hoping to collect six points in two matches.
