Katlego Maponya is a very smart 15 year old aged 15 from Lebowakgomo . She is the third born in a family 0=of 4 children .Her parents passed away in a car accident when she was 5 years old and ever since then she was living with her aunt .She relocated to Lebowakgomo after her parents in Welkom was sold to fund her two sister's tertiary education .

She always wanted to become a Pilot when she grew up because she wanted to travel the world . Her aunt always supported her and never got in her way of studying . When she was was in grade 6 she was moved to the grade 7 because she was too smart for grade and she also did exceptional in grade 7 .She was also moved to grade 10 when she was in grade 9 that's why she completed her grade 12 at the age of 15. She is going to study at the University of Cape Town .
