Top SA idols contestant drops out due to an undisclosed illness.
The songbird who was a fan favourite will not continue to participate in this year's edition
Idols SA wrote a press statement on all of their social media platforms to announce that Ithana who was once a Miss SA runner up had dropped out of the competition due to medical reasons.
Mnet Local entertainment channels director write an official statement wishing the songstress a speedy recovery she said “ Ithabwill not perform for the duration of the show due to medical reasons as Mnet we wish her a speedy recovery”
This has been a turbulent week for the idols SA considering the fact that a section a of the viewers was calling out for the return of superstar Judge Somizi who has been suspended due to the allegations that he physically and emotionally abused his enstranged husband.
The show has robed of a fan favourite contest and the viewers will miss out on a talent individual.
