
The members of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) have recovered two stolen vehicles, a Toyota Hilux GD6 Legend 50 and Toyota Fortuner 2020 in Limpopo Province, but unfortunately they were not successful in capturing the drivers.
According to the Flyingnewslive news report, earlier today, Monday, 23 May 2022, South African National Defence Force (SANDF) members who were on patrol outside Musina in Limpopo Province spotted two suspicious vehicles, a Toyota Hilux GD6 Legend 50 and Toyota Fortuner 2020.
The SANDF members flagged down the vehicles and the drivers immediately out and ran straight across the border into the Zimbabwean side, the SANDF members chased after the suspects but were unsuccessful in capturing them, the suspects were intending to cross the border with the stolen vehicles illegally into Zimbabwe.
The recovered vehicles will soon returned to the rightful owners, a case of hijacking has been registered and currently under investigation.
