Earlier yesterday, it was a trying moment for the security forces in Nigeria as Memeber of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists group attacked The Nigerian Army in Borno state, and both parties open fire against one another.
It was so sad that a Brigadier General and three other soldiers lost their lives in the gun duel.
While reacting to this bitter news, the former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has just taken to his Facebook page to pray and comfort the family of the killed soldiers.
On his page, he said "On behalf of a grateful nation, I pay tributes to Brigadier General Dzarma Zirkusu and three soldiers who paid the supreme sacrifice in the quest to keep us safe from the machinations of the enemies. May their families be strengthened and comforted. I pray that their souls and the souls of all the soldiers who have fallen in this battle rest in peace."
