A military vehicle known as a Samil 50 has plunged over a bridge along the Wasbank Road causing serious injuries to four members of the South African Defense forces including leg fractures.
According to preliminary reports, the Samil 50 was crossing the bridge which is several meters high when it lost control plunging into the shallow river below.
While some members managed to crawl from the wreckage, the driver was trapped and had to be rescued by the Fire and Rescue Unit from Alfred Duma Municipality.
