Military veterans are demanding monthly packages and R2 million. Their reason is that they never got a chance to attend school to get decent jobs, so they should be given these packages. They are saying that they should be compensated for fighting against apartheid.
However, an African National Congress comrade have spilled the bins. He said that 90% of the former MK soldiers who are calling themselves soldiers of Umkhonto wesizwe military, were never soldiers of the Umkhonto wesizwe military, but we're SDUs. He added that even the RET comrades know this, but will never admit this. He added that they just want jobs and monthly benefits, but they were never MK soldiers.
The ANC comrade added that part of the eThekwini and Pietermaritzburg collapse is being caused by the MK soldiers depending monthly packages.
