The 9th SANDF member was Arrested for and is facing serious corruption charges. He was arrested on Monday, 20 September 2021 in relation to cross-border vehicle smuggling. The initial responsibility of these soldiers was to protect the territorial integrity of the Republic of South Africa but instead of doing that, he allegedly worked with vehicle smugglers from Limpopo province to smuggle stolen cars through the Limpopo river.
If you live in Limpopo and have heard that a car was stolen, it was probably because of this SANDF member. The above is nothing but pure selfishness and pure evil. People work for years and years to make money for that car but people just decide to steal those cars and sell them at half the price. The other 8 suspects have been granted R3 000 bail while number 9 will appear in the Musina Magistrate’s Court soon to face corruption charges.
