Ramaphosa acclaims troopers for 'fundamental' Covid organization
The SA National Defense Force can be depended upon regardless of the conditions, President Cyril Ramaphosa said on Sunday.
Talking on Armed Forces Day, Ramaphosa, who is the president of the SANDF, depicted the country's military as being "fundamental" to SA's battle against the Covid.
"You have exhibited that the SA National Defense Force can be depended on in great occasions just as in awful occasions, in the midst of harmony and seasons of battle, in the midst of security and thriving, and in the midst of public emergency," he said.
Ramaphosa adulated the protection power for, in addition to other things, keeping up lawfulness during the underlying Covid-19 lockdown, for undertaking benevolence missions to bring abandoned South Africans back home, conveying clean drinking water to weak networks and, on account of the SA Military Health Service, sending staff to all territories to help in the battle against the destructive infection.
