RET Bigwig Angry As Grave Of ANC Veteran Vandalized Again

The grave of former Umkhonto Wesizwe Military Veterans Association president, and ANC veteran, Kebby Maphatsoe has been vandalized for the second time.

Maphatsoe's grave was vandalized late last year only a few months after he was laid to rest and some ANC comrades believe this is politically motivated.

The grave was built up only to be vandalized again, this time around causing so much damage.

ANC veteran and former Umkhonto Wesizwe Military Veterans Association spokesperson, Carl Niehaus said this is disturbing and heartbreaking to see that people are actually doing this to the grave of the late ANC veteran.

"The tombstone of our late MKMVA President, comrade Kebby Maphatsoe has been damaged and desecrated again.

It is so deeply disturbing and heartbreaking. Why this horrible cold blooded hatred? Why inflict this pain on his family and comrades? People who do this are callous monsters," said Niehaus.

Some conspiracy theorists are already speculating that this is an indication that the ANC veteran is not resting in peace and his family might need to do some rituals to calm his spirit.

Kebby Maphatsoe died last at his home in Johannesburg and circumstances surrounding his death were speculated to not have been clear.

The former Umkhonto Wesizwe Military Veterans Association president, Kebby Maphatsoe is said to also have predicted his own death and told his wife how he wanted his funeral arrangements to be like.

Those who have vandalized the tombstone of ANC veteran are speculated to have been people who had personal issues with Maphatsoe.

Some however suggest that this case might not be political as it could be nyaope boys who are looking for whatever they could sell to the scrap yards from the graves.

"Most tombstones are vandalised especially in the ekasi graveyards and there's no grass cutting by relevant municipalities. I don't how the issue of hate comes into this. Go to Ekurhuleni graveyards you will see what I mean," some revealed.
