New threads for SA Soldiers

South Africa's soldiers are getting wardrobe, although the are sticking to the same hues of green and brown - their camouflage will have a brand new pattern and be made of strong material.

The concept designs have been on desplay at an army conference in Potchefstroom. eNCA's reporter Barry Baitman has more.

They are the countries last line of deffence from foreighn aggressors, and they need to look the part. And they have been called recently for urban duty.

And while they are recognizable for their camouflage uniforms and insignia. The South African army believes that the are too many fakes available commercially.

So they have come up with these new design proposals which include a new digital camouflage print, the army felt the need for it.

The new cut is also designed to properly fit the female figure and will be made with a stronger material which will be sourced locally. eNCA's reporter Barry Baitman filed this report Courtesy #Dstv403 #eNCA
