You have to choose your exercises carefully depending on what type of body you are looking to achieve. If you are looking to lose a couple of pounds before you start tightening your muscles, then you have to do full body exercises to balance of the weight loss of your body. You are the artist, start off by jumping up and down while moving your arms up and down and your legs side to side. This is to get your muscles awake and running because they've been resting for a very long time. Before you start with the jumping don't forget to stretch to loosen your body. Your body has been resting for a very long time so take it slow. Jump any time of the day when you feel like you have energy. Do this exercise for a week and your muscles will be used to working out, now you can move to the squats to tighten your buns and tone your thighs. Do them any time tof the day when you have free time, don't even count. Do them for a week whilst jumping up and down while moving your hands and legs. After this combination of workouts you have graduated to the weights. Start at a weight level that you can handle, you must be able to complete a set of 10 lifts in one go. Lift it until you can't feel it anymore, then move on to heavier weights. Don't go to high because the aim is to tone your arms and not to build muscle. Keep on doing this routine for 3 months and I promise you that you will eventually enjoy it so much, that you will do it for life.
