Spenders who rent out bottles at clubs

I recently came across a video of a man who claims to have worked on the club scene in Sandton( The most affluent area in South Africa). The man spoke about spenders who have a good relationship with the owners of these clubs and then the spenders use that same relationship to hire out expensive bottles of champagne and whiskey bottles for their tables for aesthetics.

The girls who work at the clubs come with those fireworks that you see on the bottles creating a spectacle for buyers and other buyers are able to see the bottles being brought. Now what happens is that only one bottle ends up being drank and the other bottles are sent back to the bar. The opposite tables, not wanting to be outshone (there are many women to impress there) then ends up buying actual bottles. This is very good for the club owner who is able to sell bottles.

I think it's crazy what happens in these scenes. People are so hung on these Instagram lifestyles that they end up living beyond their means to "compete" with ghosts. Perhaps one should just get out of these lifestyles and focus on walking in your lane. Forget these girls who make you feel like you have to spend or have a certain amount of money to be worth their time. Easier said than done I know.

Look at this photo below. This lady takes an aesthetical picture claiming it's in Los Angeles, California only for a South African taxi to appear in the corner of a picture ( American taxis are yellow and four seaters). She is obviously doing this to compete with all these influencers who can actually afford to go to LA.

Check out the reaction to this revelation.
