The Heaviest Woman in the Whole Wide World Pauline Potter is the author of this article.
Despite the title's "somewhat corrupting" nature, 48-year-old Potter is sharing her story because she's in a hurry. She's hoping that when the 2012 edition of the records book arrives, someone will learn about her and offer to help her get sound. At this point, her mobility has been severely limited, and to maintain her flexibility, three to five times per week she attends warm water restoration pools.
Because of this, Pauline approached Guinness World Records in the hopes of getting a professional to help her get in shape, which she believes was her main motivation for doing so.
As per the Guinness World Records, Rosalie Bradford is the world's heaviest woman ever, with a weight of 1,200 lbs. in 1987.
