Well folks, I'm not going to lie to you. I've never tried this before. Maybe I've been watching too much YouTube? Starting to doubt my methods I've been using for many years. Or maybe it's just in my DNA to keep learning and trying to find better ways to do things To much thinking makes my head hurt! Sometimes I just jump in and see what happens! I was seeing on YouTube, a lot of people saying we should be sterilizing our stuff we make seed starting mix with. I had an old partial bag of peat moss that had been stored outside in the barn
Sure enough there was some stuff living in it. One tode was found in the scoop just before it would have gone into the pot of boiling water. After filling the pots with peat I brought them back to a good boil, then put on the lids for a slow cooldowns. I don't know if this is better but I figured it wouldn't hurt anything
Except maybe confirm to some of my neighbors that I'm a little bit off center. Some already think that because I keep moving Nancy around the yard
PS...this is me, I'm not good with computer junk so I ended up with an account on my cell phone, and another Facebook account on my notepad. Same me just different photo and different accounts.
