Topic: Do you still remember goods looted during July unrest, Look what is happening to them now.
Last year, 2021 July, the government of the Republic of South Africa was caught unexpectedly by the first ever Civil unrest which began in KwaZulu-Natal province and erupted to other provinces such as Gauteng province.
This was following the arrest of the former president of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress Jacob Zuma in July.
Group of people who believed to be his supporters started protest, burning things which erupted to looting at companies, shops, malls and warehouses including burning infrastructures.
Many goods which were stolen get recovered but unfortunately they couldn't go back to the shops since they are regarded as damages.
Hundreds of people were gathered at Thursday's auction at Alexandra police station in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal province, to bid for items looted during the July unrest.
