Ramaphosa submits shortlist for Chief Justice position to JSC, National Assembly

JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa has short-recorded four possibility for thought for the situation of Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court


In the running are Constitutional Court Judge Mbuyiseli Madlanga, leader of the Supreme Court of Appeal Judge Mandisa Maya, leader of the Gauteng Division of the High Court Justice Dunston Mlambo and Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo. 


Ramaphosa has now presented these names to the Judicial Service Commission and the National Assembly for thought. 


Previous Chief Justice Mogoeng's term reached a conclusion on 11 October subsequent to being in charge for 10 years.
